Trident begins a busy year with speaking engagements
It’s been a busy start to the year for the Trident team, but we have hit the ground running. Our CEO, Dr Mark Lovatt, has been speaking at several events on the importance and positive impacts of the 2016 ISO 37001 Anti-bribery Management System.
At the recent “Combatting Procurement Fraud in the Private and Public Sectors”, Dr Lovatt spoke to a roomful of delegates from all over the country, including a large contingent from Sarawak, on the ISO 37001.On the 7th of February, Dr Lovatt spoke at the Malaysian Institute of Accountants’ (MIA) conference on Trust and Integrity. He shared on the issue of whistleblowing, its importance, as well as some thoughts on the more controversial aspects of anonymous reporting. Dr Lovatt shared the stage with some of the leading integrity practitioners in Malaysia, including representatives from Petronas, Celcom Axiata, Malaysia’s Insurance Deposit Corporation (PIDM), and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC).
Trident was also honoured to be invited to Putrajaya to share our perspective on the ISO 37001 with representatives from both the public and private sector at an event organised by the Integrity Department in the Prime Minister’s Office. Dr Lovatt spoke alongside senior representatives from SIRIM QAS, Malaysia’s national certification and inspections body, and Top Glove Berhad.
